Yes, UK creators can earn from the TikTok Creator Rewards Program. TikTok opened its Creativity Program Beta to eligible UK creators in September 2023, and in March 2024 it took the program out of beta as the Creator Rewards Program. To join you need to be 18 or older, have at least 10,000 followers and at least 100,000 video views in the last 30 days, and use a personal account in good standing. Only original videos that are longer than one minute can earn, and pay depends on qualified views, watch time, originality, search value and engagement. TikTok does not publish an official UK RPM (pay per 1,000 views), so there is no fixed amount for 1 million views either.
Is Creator Rewards available in the UK?
Yes. In September 2023 TikTok's UK newsroom announced that the Creativity Program Beta was "now available to all eligible UK creators". In March 2024 its UK newsroom said the program was out of beta and introduced it as the Creator Rewards Program. TikTok says you need a personal account in good standing where the program is available, and the UK is one of those places.
Which other countries have Creator Rewards? TikTok's program terms only say it is "available only in selected countries", and TikTok does not keep one public list in those terms. Lists you see online often disagree. The surest check is the Creator Rewards section of TikTok Studio, which shows whether the program is open where you live.
TikTok's Rewards Policy for the UK, Switzerland and the EEA names a UK company, TikTok Information Technologies UK Limited, as responsible for rewards payments to UK users. That policy also says you must be at least 18 to take part in any rewards program.

How Creator Rewards pay is calculated
TikTok says the program uses a rewards formula built on four core metrics: originality, play duration, search value and audience engagement. In plain terms, it rewards original videos that people watch for longer, that people find through search, and that get likes, comments and shares.
What is a qualified view on TikTok?
Only qualified views count towards pay. TikTok's program terms set out the main rules:
- A view counts only if the viewer watches for at least five seconds.
- Several views from the same account count as one.
- Views are left out if the viewer marks the video "not interested", or if TikTok judges them artificial, self-generated or against its rules.
- A video needs at least 1,000 qualified views before it starts earning.
The same terms say rewards are worked out using the viewers' country, the number of views, engagement and how authentic those views are. So two videos with the same view count can earn very different amounts.
How much does TikTok pay for 1 million views in the UK?
There is no official answer. TikTok does not publish a set amount for 1 million views in the UK or anywhere else. You will see figures online, but they come from creator reports and calculator sites, not from TikTok, and they vary a lot. We have left them out because we could not confirm them.
It also helps to know that 1 million views is not the same as 1 million paid views. Only qualified views on eligible videos count, and TikTok's terms say rewards are "calculated dynamically based on the country of the video views origin". So a UK creator whose views mostly come from other countries can earn a different amount from one with a mostly UK audience, even with the same view count.
TikTok RPM in the UK
RPM means revenue per 1,000 views. When TikTok launched Creator Rewards in the UK, it said each video in the program would get its own pages for RPM and qualified views in the Creator Rewards dashboard. That per-video RPM is the only reliable figure for your account. TikTok does not publish an average UK RPM, so treat any single number you see online with care.
Your RPM can move from video to video and month to month, because it follows watch time, engagement, originality, search value and where your viewers are. For a wider look at what creators earn across Creator Rewards, LIVE, brand deals and TikTok Shop, see our guide on how much TikTokers make.
To be paid, TikTok's Rewards Policy says you must add a valid payment account in your own legal name, such as a bank account or PayPal. Minimum and maximum limits and fees may apply. Rewards are worked out in US dollars, so a currency conversion cost may apply. The policy also says you are responsible for any tax on your rewards, so keep a record of what you are paid.
How to join from the UK
- Check your account type. Make sure you use a personal account. Business accounts cannot join.
- Open TikTok Studio. Go to your profile, tap the menu, open TikTok Studio and look for the Creator Rewards Program.
- Apply when eligible. If you meet the age, follower and view rules, the app lets you apply. If not, it shows what is still missing.
- Post videos over a minute long. Only original videos that are longer than one minute can earn. Our guide on how long TikTok videos should be helps you plan longer videos that people finish.
- Track each video. Watch qualified views and estimated rewards in the dashboard, and learn from the videos that earn most.
If your views are too low to qualify, fix that first. Our guide on why your TikTok views are low covers the usual causes, including videos that are not eligible for the For You feed. If views dropped suddenly, check our guide to TikTok shadowbans as well.
Other ways to earn on TikTok in the UK
LIVE Gifts
Viewers can send you Gifts during a LIVE. TikTok measures the Gifts and Diamonds a creator collects, and its Rewards Policy uses them to work out LIVE rewards. You must be at least 18 to receive rewards, and LIVE Gifts are not available in every country. See how many followers you need to go LIVE and our TikTok gift values guide.
Subscription
Subscription lets fans pay you monthly for extra perks. TikTok's rules are 18 or older, an account in good standing, 10,000 followers and 100,000 video views in the past calendar month, or meeting TikTok's LIVE requirements. TikTok says it is rolling out in select regions, so check TikTok Studio to see if it is open to you.
TikTok Shop affiliate
TikTok Shop runs in the UK, and affiliate creators earn commission when people buy through their videos or LIVEs. TikTok Shop UK's eligibility policy asks for at least 500 genuine followers, and you must be 18 or older. Our guide to TikTok Shop affiliate requirements covers the sign-up rules.
Brand deals
Brand deals have no official follower minimum. Brands set their own terms, and engagement and a clear niche often matter as much as size.
Can bought views help you qualify?
No. TikTok's program terms count only authentic followers and views and leave out views that are artificially produced or obtained, so bought views do not earn rewards and do not count towards the thresholds. TikTok's rules also do not allow fake engagement, and bought views do not replace good videos. If you try a small boost such as TikTok UK views from Folzora, treat it as a way to make a new video look less empty, not as a route into the program. Your videos still have to hold real viewers' attention to grow and earn.
Frequently asked questions
Is the TikTok Creator Rewards Program available in the UK?
Yes. TikTok opened its Creativity Program Beta to eligible UK creators in September 2023 and relaunched it as the Creator Rewards Program in March 2024. You need to live in the UK (or another country where the program runs), use a personal account in good standing and not use a VPN.
How many followers do you need for TikTok Creator Rewards in the UK?
At least 10,000 followers, plus at least 100,000 video views in the last 30 days. You must also be 18 or older and use a personal account in good standing. Business accounts cannot join.
How much does TikTok pay for 1 million views in the UK?
TikTok does not publish a fixed amount. Only qualified views on eligible videos count, and pay depends on watch time, originality, search value, engagement and which countries your viewers are in. Your Creator Rewards dashboard shows estimated rewards for each video.
What is the TikTok RPM in the UK?
There is no official UK RPM. TikTok shows an RPM for each video in the Creator Rewards dashboard once you are in the program, and it changes from video to video. Figures quoted online come from creators and calculators, not TikTok.
Do TikTok videos have to be over one minute long to earn money?
For Creator Rewards, yes. Only original videos that are longer than one minute can earn, and each video needs at least 1,000 qualified views. Shorter videos can still earn through brand deals, TikTok Shop or LIVE Gifts.
Do I have to pay tax on TikTok earnings in the UK?
TikTok's Rewards Policy says you are responsible for any tax on rewards you receive. Check HMRC guidance or speak to an accountant about your own situation, and keep a record of every payment.
